I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to start Travel the World with Kris.

Going back to when it all started, I was attending college in Los Angeles. I dropped out of college in 2012 at age 21 and was able to get a full-time job being a driver/ courier for legal services for a few years. Through that job, I was able to have vacation pay and discovered my passion in travel.

My first international trip was on a cruise to the Caribbean in 2013. That was when the travel bug truly hit me. I met amazing people from all around the world and also was further motivated by the advertisements the cruises were showing about other destinations. For the rest of the year, I traveled to many other places such as Alaska, Cabo San Lucas, the Grand Canyon, Oregon, Oktoberfest in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and the final trip to Costa Rica before the year ended. The following years, I kept traveling to New Zealand, Vietnam, British Columbia, Cancun, Dubai, more countries in Europe, and more cities around the United States.

In 2016, I was able to get a Working Holiday visa in Australia. By living in Australia, it gave me the advantage to see as much of the country as possible. I lived in Sydney but traveled all around to Melbourne, Perth, Hobart, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ayer’s Rock, and Alice Springs. As for work experience in Australia, I was able to work as a bellman and a concierge agent at 2 hotels in Sydney. The knowledge and experience from seeing much of the world, I was able to relate with many guests I have associated with. It made me learn a lot about myself with improving my social skills and conversation topics as well as seeing the good in many people visiting from all over the world.

When my visa expired in Australia, I was then able to get a Working Holiday visa in New Zealand. It was there where I experienced the same thing. I lived in Auckland, was able to travel much of the country, continued to meet more great people, and worked at another hotel in Auckland.

When my visa expired, I moved back to California. I’m currently getting into business for myself and currently making lots of YouTube videos around California before going across America and to other countries again. If you have any questions or would like to know more about me, please feel free to contact me.
